John is an Aussie singer/performer who has received local notoriety for his many TV appearances and stage performances. His original version of the John Rowe Show (also known as John Rowe’s Lounge Room Live) was a smash hit down-under and featured many local celebrity guests: high profile actors, recording artists, and TV stars. Himself a one-time star of children’s TV, on-air performance coach for Australian Idol, and well-known TV singer, John has spent the last several years out of the spotlight writing and directing large scale theater productions and events around the world.
As a kid's entertainer, John has starred for Disney and The Wiggles, and played James the Butler in "The Kingdom of Paramithi" for Channel 9 & Nickelodeon. He toured arenas playing Roger in "Grease the Arena Spectacular" with Dannii Minogue & Craig McLachlan. He has been a guest on Channel 7's Carol's in the Domain, and even provided warm up for the 100,000 live audience members as pre-show host. He has appeared as co-host for The Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras broadcast. John also spent 2 years as the on-air performance coach for Australian Idol. |
